Play records stay with the device
Dino Play Academy is a dinosaur puzzle app that does not require an account. It has no advertising or third-party behavioral analytics SDK, and no feature that sends play records to the operator’s servers.
We do not ask a child to enter their real name, birthday, gender, school, photo or contact details. The app does not request camera, microphone, photos, location or contacts permissions. Selecting an age band suggests a starting difficulty; it is not legal age verification or parental consent.
Information saved on the device
- A locally generated profile identifier, selected age band and dinosaur buddy
- Language, sound, motion, text size, difficulty and hint settings
- Games in progress, completed levels, play time, scores, hints used, activity history and personal bests
- Earned stickers and progress toward sticker goals
This information lets players resume games, choose difficulty and review play history with a parent. It is not used to diagnose intelligence or development, or to rank children against one another.
Parent PIN verification values and failed-attempt counts are kept in iOS secure storage. The plain-text PIN is not stored in the play-record file. The PIN controls access to the parent area; it is not an adult identity verification service.
Apple purchases and restoration
The app includes free starter content. One non-consumable purchase in the parent area unlocks full access. There is no subscription, automatic renewal, advertising or separate payment for hints.
Apple processes account and payment details under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy. The operator does not receive your Apple Account password or card details. The app checks Apple-verified transactions on the device to determine access. It does not send purchase information to an operator-run verification server.
The first purchase and restoration need an internet connection. Access already verified on the device works offline. Access may change when Apple confirms a refund or another entitlement change. Restoration restores access, not deleted play records or stickers from another device.
Retention, backup and deletion
Records are saved in each device’s app storage. The app has no cross-device syncing feature. Apple device backup or transfer features you choose to use may include app data. This is separate from the app sending records to an operator-run server.
Delete the current child’s records: Open the parent area from Home, authenticate with the PIN, open Play Records, then choose to clear this child’s records and confirm. This clears that profile’s game progress, history, personal bests, earned stickers and game in progress. Other profiles, the parent PIN and purchase entitlement remain.
Reset all local data and the PIN: From the parent PIN entry screen, choose the forgotten-PIN option, choose to erase all data and start again, and complete the parental check. This removes all local profiles, records, stickers, settings and the PIN on that device. Cancelling does not reset data. Deleted play records and stickers cannot be recovered by the app.
PIN verification values in iOS secure storage may remain after uninstalling. Use the in-app full reset first to remove the PIN. Local deletion does not erase Apple purchase history or request a refund.
Support correspondence
If a parent emails support, the operator may process their email address, message and any voluntarily provided device, app-version or error details to reply. Do not send a child’s real name, birthday, school or photo, payment-card details, Apple passwords or the parent PIN.
Support retention and deletion: Correspondence is kept for one year after the request is resolved and then deleted. It is deleted sooner, without undue delay, if you ask.
Email/hosting providers and required processing or transfer disclosures: Support email is forwarded through ImprovMX to the operator’s mailbox, and this site is served by Google Firebase Hosting. Servers for both services may be located outside the Republic of Korea, including in the United States.
Public-site logs, cookies and analytics: This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics. The hosting provider (Google) may process request records such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the service. It has no analytics scripts, external fonts or contact form.
Parents’ requests and policy changes
Contact the support email above about access, correction or deletion of device data or support correspondence. The operator cannot look up local play records on a server or recover them remotely. Unnecessary information about a child is not needed to provide support.
If practices change, this page, its effective date and relevant app information will be updated.
